So we haven't really used this blog much so far, but that is about to change now. Or maybe it isn't. You can never be sure with these things. We've kept quite busy the past few months, but Mallory has had a little bit more free time since the new year, and I've been trying to make myself busier lately. I'm still struggling to get into a schedule to handle my electrical engineering coursework this semester, but I'm quite excited about possibilities of using up more potentially free time. I've been looking for an internship to get some work experience this summer, and I also want to be doing more to look into maybe applying for grad school, since I will graduate this December. On top of that I've been looking for part time work for right now, and I'm part of the EE department's pilot "research rotations" program. As part of that, I'm getting very slightly involved with some ongoing research for a few weeks.
I've been feeling like I have a lot to do, but I've found a neat trick that's helping me keep going. I'm just taking extra care to keep the kitchen clean, so I can look at some part of my life that is clean and taken care of, and it inspires me to do well everywhere else. It's easy to do when only two people are using the kitchen.
For all you Mallory fans out there, don't worry: I'm sure she'll tell you all about what she's been up to soon. Right now she's playing music on the guitar and singing, and being very pleasant.
This should inspire me to clean the kitchen more faithfully. Good work Aaron.
