We are going to be the best blog writers ever!
Grace is now about 6 months old. I say about because she has no half birthday, there is no February 30th. I cannot believe how the time has flown. She is now eating solid foods now and then. So far she has tried rice cereal, peas, apples, bananas, and butternut squash. Rice cereal and butternut squash are her least favorite and peas are her favorite so far. She can roll around from front to back and back to front. She can pull her legs underneath her and scooch a tiny bit. At her last check up she weighed 11 pounds and 6 ounces (5 weeks ago). She is at 3rd percentile for her weight and 10th percentile for her height. She is very smiley and sleeps for about 10 hours every night. (Which is wonderful!)
Every morning I get up and go walking/jogging with my friend Rachel. I am trying very hard to lose the weight I have gained from being pregnant. It is so hard! And I swear...I still look about 4 or 5 months pregnant. So, I am actively fighting this "sludge"! ("Sludge" is how I feel as well as the way my abdomen looks.)
Grace gets to come along for a stroller ride. It feels so good to get out in the morning (even if we are running indoors). Which brings me to the title. When oh when will spring come? It snowed today, yesterday, the day before, and the day before that. It's very pretty...but green is so much prettier. So I'm ready, now Utah can catch up.
